About Me
My full name is Loc Huu Ho. Apparently, I have the exact same name as my great granddaddy on my dad’s side…
So both my parents are from Vietnam, which I consider myself also Vietnamese even though I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. However, because I did not live very long in Malaysia, I wish to travel back to my birth place Malaysia to explore its cultural riches. In 1988, my parents decided to immigrate to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, which we lived for a few years before moving to Guelph, Ontario. Guelph was a nice quiet town, but eventually we traded that in for bigger opportunities in the big city of Toronto where I am still living out my ambitions.
So let’s skip to the present, I am in my 3rd year studying Industrial Engineering at Ryerson University and looking forward to an awesome internship placement the coming summer 2011. In the meantime while in school, I have been involved with a few clubs and organizations to challenge myself and learn pratical stuff. Though at the moment, I am focusing my passions towards growing the Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Ryerson University Chapter as its current president and towards assisting in the operations of the Ryerson Dragon Boat Club.
